Bug Fixes - March 7

Rather than alert the forum individually for every bug we fix, we thought it would be more expedient to make a single post with all the latest updates. Thanks to everyone who's been reporting problems as they find them! In order to better track and organize things, we'd appreciate if further bugs could be reported via email (support@criticker.com) or within the Submit a Bug forum. But we'll take them however you get them to us!

Bugs Fixed

1. Edit Information Missing when nothing to expand

Whenever there was no cast or other information for a title, it was impossible to expand/collapse the "Extra Information" box, so users couldn't submit edits or find the IMDB link.

2. Schedule Collection Alert to run daily

This is one which predates the Full-width launch, but which we fixed as part of it. From now on, anyone whose preferences indicate they'd like to receive them, should be getting daily updates about titles added to their collaborative collections.

3. Problem opening first message

Opening the very first message in your Criticker inbox wasn't working, but now it is.

4. Avg Kumpel Rating

When you've filtered on Kumpels, you'll now see their average percentile underneath the ratings list!

5. XML missing some mini reviews

Yes, it was indeed! This has now been fixed.

6. Wrong Stats on Journal

We were incorrectly showing your own stats, when you were viewing the Watch Journal of another user.

7. Can't star reviews on Recent Kumpel Activity

This was happening on your Profile page, the option to star reviews just didn't appear.

8. Footer 'Help' link leads to 404

Yeahh.... we were linking to the wrong page.

9. Unable to submit a game

There was a problem with the poster location, which has been fixed, as well as with the creation of new developers and publishers.

10. Add to Watchlist button not showing "added" variant

Kind of a tricky one which took us awhile to track down, but we've got it fixed! It would have also been affecting Ignored Films in the same way.

11. Showing your rating when you click on another user's rating

We're now correctly showing the proper rating and review in the modal.

12. Adding actors creates unnecessary new actors

An unfortunate typo, which has resulted in a lot of cleanup work for us. But this should now be fixed -- filmmakers newly submitted should not create duplicates.

13. Streaming Results for Non-US Users
We were serving streaming results from JustWatch, as though everyone was based in the USA, meaning people in other countries were not seeing results tailored to their region.

14. User Profile Links not working
For a subset of users, there were issues loading lists of titles from their User Profile page. This has been fixed.


Unable to replicate / Possibly fixed

These are issues which were either fixed by an earlier release, or which we need more information about, because we couldn't reproduce them.

"Creator" doesn't seem to appear on the info page. I can see Directors etc. but not Creator.
