I get where you're coming from but I think it's the wrong way to approach Until Dawn. It's just meant to be a fun party game of schlock horror for the kind of people it portrays in the story. It's not Get Out: The Game, and it wasn't trying to be, so judging it on such a refined level is kind of like kicking a slow puppy for not being smart.

It's not a great game, but I thought it was fun enough.
