I had a dream about this movie last night:

Lincoln had been bitten by a vampire the night of his assassination. And, had been living on the blood of animals for years, until he finally decides to run for president in 2012.
Americans are horrified. This rejection leads to him lashing out, and biting the hell out of everyone he sees.

I've had dreams about upcoming movies before. They've always been wildly inaccurate.

Also, just the announcement of this is already causing people to talk about the 85th academy awards in 2013. Wishful thinking at this point, but it's true that having DDL in a movie is (almost) always a good shot at him getting another oscar, and a good shot for the filmmaker as well.

When my dad heard about this he called me and talked my ear off for about an hour about how great Daniel Day Lewis is and how he basically has the Oscar won already for this role.

I was less excited, but I'm still hoping it will be a funky adventure.
