Howdy all.
I'm TheDenizen, 34 year old male from Southern Ontario, Canada. I've been actively participating in the movie ranking/reviewing on this site for a few years now, but never really paid much attention to the forums. That changes now.
My biggest passion in life is shitty movies. I have a lot of spare time at work, and I spend most of it trawling through old movie reviews and trying to track down lost/forgotten trash films. Sure, stuff like The Godfather and Hardboiled is infinitely better, but there is much joy to be had in cinematic merde like Samurai Cop or Long Island Cannibal Massacre. Of course I do also watch lots of first run, major budget stuff, but I usually don't like it
Other than movies, most of my time is used up playing violent, soul destroying videogames or watching football (the proper kind of football, not that American gridiron nonsense).
Looking forward to bringing my unique views to the forums. If anyone has any questions/is looking for recs in any number of sleazy, exploitative genres, feel free to ask

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi, I'm Obidy. I'm from the US, and I'm posting for the first time on Criticker's forums. Hopefully this isn't the last time I post here. I've always enjoyed movies, but didn't become a true cinemaphile until I got netflix a few months ago. Since then I've been voraciously working my way through as many classics as I can, and I've learned a lot about movies and what I like in the time since then.
In addition to movies, I have a fondness for sports, particularly Hockey, Baseball, and Soccer (something of a more recent interest). I love reading a good book, cooking and eating a good meal, playing video games, and a bunch of other stuff I don't remember at the moment.
I really am not all that picky about what kind of movies I'll watch. Dumb action flicks, cerebral foreign films, character studies, doesn't matter to me. As long as it can hold my interest for the length of the movie, I'll be satisfied. Hopefully I'll discover some good movies through this site.
That just about wraps it up I think.

Hey,
I'm Carson. Been here for half a year. Been on the boards a few times, can't remember posting in this thread.
I'm 21 and from Saskatoon, Canada. I hate mainstream. I can be snobbish at times, but I also enjoy simple entertaining films too. Close to 1500 films ranked, this will go up because I'm a part-time business student and have way too much free time on my hands. Feel free to debate me on any topic so I can tell you why you are wrong, especially on topics such as philosophy and psychology as they are presented in cinema.

films have slowly become a huge part of my life. every week i usually get 5 out from my local dvd store since i have flexible school hours. at the moment my favourite director is todd solondz because he goes where a lot of directors won't.
i also listen to a lot of music on last.fm and spend a lot of my life on tumblr

Hey everyone, my name's Noah, I'm 17 (18 in 2 weeks) and am starting at American University in D.C. next month where I'll be majoring in Film. I'm from Western, CT. Some of my favorite movies are Annie Hall, Apocalypse Now, Terminator 2 and 8 1/2. I've been trying to watch different types of films (usually 1 or 2 a day) and am always open to recommendations.

Re: Introduce Yourself
To begin with the start and boring at first, I thought originally that I was born in Bærum hospital around mid-year 1989, since that was what was on the birth certificate of mine, but after having done some further investigation it turned out that Bærum hospital reportedly was beaten with both Blakstad hospitals and Asker and Bærum Clinic to provide mental health hospital Asker and the 1 January 2003: And that means that I am not really sure about where I was born at all exists anymore. Anyway, I spent all my years of life after this somewhat undramatic event live in a white villa in Bærum, along with the rest of my family and a golden retriever (which really only exists on paper to complement the populist cliche of what a perfect nuclear family to see out.) I've managed to finish a couple of years with both the park and kindergarten education, and at least thirteen years of schooling in three different schools, with possibly a different and perhaps a little disappointing results: if you ignore the few 5-explained I was able to fool of myself in various linguistic-based subjects, and a couple 6's strange enough that I managed to parasitic to me with minimal participation in various groups since then. But I enjoy the moment regardless of life as free in all possible ways, thanks to a year off I might not have deserved.
Tens of years of upbringing in a single white villa, grounded in the best east end of the westside, has made its impression on a boy, and although I physically may have developed my style more towards a kind of psychotic mix à la Church burns / transvestite, than anything that could be filled in the populist notion that seems to well over 90% of the population has developed a kind of religious attitude, regarding how the average residents in Bærum supposed to look: And who here is usually represented by an army the blonde and blue-eyed over people with Sunny tan skin and pink Pique-shirts, as with straight back marched proudly ahead in life, only reinforced with black briefcases in Italian leather and which in short can be summarized as a sight so beautiful that it even would have given Hitler need to wipe a tear from his eye, I'm still both picky, spoiled, somewhat lazy and extremely economical. I like to look at myself as a proud and steadfast nationalist (to the extent Eastern represented by Bærum may be perceived as a separate nation), and this implies, indeed, an eternal loyalty pledge to hate (read: dislike strongly) both socialists, communists , religious and / or people with accents I do not understand, though I unfortunately have come in contact with several both pleasant and ambulatory people of my incomprehensible reasons (both) supports these strange political forms and / or practices mentioned inbred dialects, without it necessarily have done anything with the prejudices I have against the remaining members of the various aforementioned groupings.

Your English is pretty bad so I just want to make sure I'm getting this right. You're a Neo-Nazi transvestite living in Norway who likes stylish clothes. Is that right?
