First season is great, second season is quite different but still good.

The first season was awesome, then it started to get boring

s01 was solid. s02 is kinda lousy.

You know a show is not so great when each episode can't really stand on its own. The first episode was fantastic. It's a great premise and Cranston really shines in dramatic roles like this. But it's another damn cheap cliffhanger show, and a rather absurd one at that. While it's more than watchable, the storylines become increasingly more far-fetched as the show progresses. This is definitely one of those shows you'll want to watch in one or two sittings, but it's probably best to just skip it.

Nice acting has raised this slightly as the story feels a little absurd. The decisions made and spiraling lies seem so rushed at times it's almost comic. I will stick it out since the cast is so much fun. EDIT - Finished the season, and it was all downhill. The absurdities of the spiraling lies end up wasting a pretty brilliant pilot and a talented cast. It becomes nothing more than silly popcorn soap opera fare.
