One of if not the greatest Marvel based animated series of the 90s. It tackles timely stories from the comic books and adds it's own flare to them all. Visually stunning for its time, well acted and well paced. A treat for fans of the X-Men and Marvel. An absolute gem of a series.

Incredible nostalgia value. Was ahead of its time when it came to comic adaptations. Rewatching it nowadays however reveals that it had, a lot of heart but everything feels very dull and plotlines resolve themselves way too easily.

I'm watching this in order to be caught up by the time X-men 97 comes out. I never watched this as a kid, so I don't have the nostalgia many other people seem to have with this show, and as an adult, honestly I don't really understand the praise. There are moments here or there that are enjoyable, but as a whole, there are a lot of dull episodes. Honestly at this point I'm not even sure I want to watch the new X-men 97 if it's going to be more of the same.

This was a very good cartoon when it came out. I liked all the x-men and brotherhood mutants in this. Sentinels could have been more powerful. Professor X would be the strongest as he could put that helmet on see where everyone is in the world and just kill them instantly. Of course he was a good guy so he didn't do that but there were episode where the bad guys had mind control on him for him to do that.

It was definitely my favorite comic book cartoon growing up. Enough characters so that it kept things interesting, but with enough of a core group to keep things connected. And the theme song is killer.

In hindsight, this show was pretty hamfisted and really crudely animated. Has a lot of really unintentionally funny moments like anything involving the sentinels or when Wolverine is trying to act "normal." The plot and dialog are generally pretty moronic and the voice acting could be pretty damn spotty at times{though props to whoever played Apocalypse, that guy was amazing}. Overall? A weak show but not incredibly terrible in contrast to other kid shows from the 90's.

Re-watched this recently with my daughter and understood why I was in love with it when it was on the TV (She loved it also). It is way ahead of its time; especially the first two seasons is a masterclass on how to handle an "ensemble" story; then it goes down a bit after the 3rd season and the last season was a rush job; but it is definitely an animation classic.

Although a bit before my time, I caught the odd episode on TV. What I remember is that the show seemed cool, that it was a good introduction to the X-men, and that the theme song was awesome. Unfortunately (having recently watch all of it), the theme song is the only aspect that holds up. The animation is dated but has a certain charm. Even considering the episodic format, the plots feel limited compared to modern storytelling. The voice acting is more often poor; either grating or overblown.

I was never into Marvel comics as a kid outside of Hulk and Spider-Man and I had only seen a few episodes of this show when it aired. Watching this show now I can see how it was good for the time but I still found it overly simplistic and very clunky.

It simply doesn't hold up. Which is far more noticeable than its contemporary, BTAS

This came out at the perfect time for me, as it was right at the pinnacle of my comic book reading days. The theme song still stands the test of time to this day. Wolverine was and still is my favourite Marvel character (sorry Spidey!)

S1: 78. Started 80. Maybe top 5 theme song. Love rogue's tragic romance and glove kisses. Good character dynamics. Hope rogue and colossus <3 she can touch him <3. Apocalypse interesting small stint. Cool sinister final ep tease hope he brings back apocalypse nice

Liked it as a kid, but all in all nothing really separates it from a multitude of other super hero shows.

Never liked this and suffered further by being aired next to the 94 spider-man which I always thought looked better.
