Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo

Christiane F. is my favorite film, so I was excited for this. I was open minded to anything new and really only hoped it wouldn't be a copy of the film. While the writers stayed amazingly true to to the themes, it's a wild, daring adaptation that takes a ton of creative risks but still uses the original as a blueprint. It feels like a Christiane F dissertation-clearly tremendous effort went into this. The creators took a great model and made it exciting in a whole new light.
