Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks

Amazing rivalry film that is the best showcase ever for Reggie Miller as one of the best trash talkers of all time.

As a basketball loving kid who grew up in Indiana during the 90s all I can to the dastardly Knick fans is, "8 points, 9 seconds." Boom Baby.

Most entertaining documentary I ever watched. I laughed a lot. I mean.. a lot. Not only that the stuff that is being told here is funny but also the guys who are telling the events are having a good time, having fun. Excellent.

The editing steals the show in this one. Great personalities on the camera, especially Reggie, Cheryl, Spike and Patrick. There should be a sequel of Reggie Miller talking trash about players and then immediately cutting to their reactions for 2 hours.

Reggie Miller is the greatest player to never win a ring.

Not hagiography but a great breakdown of the cultural reaction to one player at a specific time. Worth it for Spike Lee alone.

Average sports documentary with an awful, anti-climactic ending; but elevated by the parts with Spike Lee. Reggie Miller is irritating as he plays to the camera in a particularly douchey manner. Halfway through the film it's mentioned that if John Starks wasn't in the NBA he'd still be bagging groceries (not at all how I imagined Starks to be; comes across as barely literate) -- that is a documentary I'd like to see. Sounds far more interesting than anything Reggie Miller had to say.

A great candid look into something that simultaneously means so much and so little.

Reggie Miller vs. Spike Lee--that was the best part. The film is a bit anti-climatic after that.
