Spent the first half of season 1 building up to an awesome reveal and the second half showing it really didn't have anything beyond said reveal. Are they really making another one? Christ.

He may not have written it but this is still the Shyamalanest thing you could possibly watch. There are twists upon twists upon twists, and some of them are actually pretty well thought out and you're given enough clues to figure them out ahead of time if you're clever. In the end it doesn't *quite* make sense but it's an admirable effort, and a great watch. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more eventful s1.

My fiancée enjoyed it. I got kind of a watered-down Twin Peaks vibe from the couple of episodes I watched, though.

The pilot tricked me into thinking this would be good. It wasn't. The instant they introduce the sci-fi part of the story, it goes straight down the shitter - and that's coming from someone who loves cheesy sci-fi. Also doesn't help the show that main character's kid is the worst child actor to have ever graced the screen with his presence.

The first half or so of the first season of this initially highly intriguing mystery sports tremendous energy. The second half is okay.

Starts okay, apart from bad writing and okay to bad acting but especially the terrible CGI & green screen is annoying, I mean Come on the show is form 2015! Why does it look so bad? It was still kinda watchable until the middle of season 1, everything after that it makes little sense to watch as the full mystery is simply unraveled in its entirety. What's the point of a mystery-series without a mystery -.- After that, all the weaknesses in the series come to light in full. You can skip Season 2!

The first season was a fairly interesting concept. Lots of twists and turns I wasn't expecting, a good cast, and an interesting story. But they should have left it at one season. I watched the first episode of season 2 and it was garbage.

Although I did not find it that bad I stopped watching after more or less the half of the first season. I know that at this point it is getting interesting but I was so bored with the previous episodes that I could not bear it. I left for summer vacations—august—with the intention of resuming, I never did it.

I loved season 1. It starts off with a nice mystery, but after the reveal the show really takes off. (1 season)

This is an on-going series, not a movie, but I'll rate it anyway, since Criticker asked me so nicely. It's not bad for the TV budget, but it certainly does belong on TV.

The main mysteries are cleared fairly early in the series, and after that it becomes boring. The idea of the 'Abbies' is also moronic, kinda like the 'mutations' in X-men.
