Under the Bridge

Run of the mill "true"-crime fare, but with a nice performance by Lily Gladstone who i feel oddly glued to every time she's on screen. It's a forgettable and narratively unfocused miniseries, but not horrible. It adds not much else to the table than some voyeurism and a disjointed tale about teenage bullymurdering that's deluded by their choice of a camera-friendly victim, instead of someone who looked more like the real Veena. The show looks and sounds like everything else out there

A decent watch on a truish teenage murder case. I am a sucker for these atmospheric type shows. Keough is good, Gladstone is a bit hit or miss at times for me, but overall it worked well enough. The young actors are like always a mixed bag, but its never super distracting. It feels a little repetitive at times and wondering if maybe a an episode less length could have been achieved.
