Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend

Una commedia a bivi piena di chicche per gli amanti della serie. Non racconta nulla di nuovo ma fa passare qualche ora divertente, anche perchè mantiene l'ottima scrittura a cui ci aveva abituato l'originale. In più da amante dei libri game non posso non apprezzare un tentativo del genere.

This Kimmy Schmidt special is making me question Fey's ability to write comedy. The funniest bit comes from Jacqueline's (Krakowski) otherwise tedious side-plot, whereby she undermines anti-workplace harassment for women. The hour-long pseudo-choose-your-own-adventure fails to conjure up enough laughs or excitement, and seems to merely exist to remind us how irritating these characters actually are. The absurdity was funnier a decade ago in 30 Rock, with a better ensemble cast.
