The best TV show in romanian history is brought to you by HBO and I'm glad they haven't dropped their standards. S1 was a strong 85 and I'm definitely looking forward to S2.

It was a joy to watch. It has a biting rawness to it which makes you feel the story more. Relu's sociopath level indifference is a wonderful contrast with what is going around him. Great music, great acting and it is madly funny at times (although it requires a certain knowledge of Balkan and Romanian culture. I had the luxury of a direct translator next to me :)). Except few editing problems, technically it shines also. Highly recommended if you are looking for something different.
