Ties That Bind

This could have been a great movie in the genre of cozy mysteries. The filmmakers misread their audience and did not make the protagonist into someone that audience would admire. Scenes move slowly with lots of duplication and too much narrative-by-dialogue. However, the plot as a whole is adept enough to hold the interest of the audience. The film went nowhere however for the reasons mentioned above.
