There have been few comedy minds like Shandling. Capable of being funny in the surreal ridiculous, or the parody, or the straight joke teller. He was neurotic and complicated but ultimately translated that to entertainment. This is a good peek into his mind, and outlook told lovingly by Apatow with a slew of admirers.

I'm a big comedy and history of comedy fan, so I was all over this. Unfortunately I was too young to see his shows at the time, so this was my introduction to him. I'll definitely make the time to check his shows out.
