The Waltons : Episode List

A young girl is found on the doorstep of the Walton home. They take her in and later realize she is deaf. John Boy helps to teach her sign language.

Four carnival performers are stranded after the carnival leaves Walton's Mountain, so they stay with the Waltons while they try to get back home.

When Chance the cow gives birth to a healthy calf, the Waltons are over the moon, but it must be sold to pay for some emergency repairs to John's truck. Also, the children are upset when their father sells the newborn calf to another farmer who intends to slaughter it for beef.

John Boy has mixed feelings about his first Turkey Hunt, he wants to prove that he is a man and can provide for the family, but at the same time doesn't want to take the life of a living creature.

When John Boy borrows and antique typewriter so he can write a story for a magazine, Mary Ellen mistakenly sells it to a junk collector.
