The Riverman

Dull, forgettable, and no suspense of who the killer is even though it feels like the film is trying to be suspenseful with it. The Riverman is a rather bad film. Greenwood and Elwes weren't able to save it at all, although I don't know if any actors could have saved this one.

Bruce Greenwood was kind a okay. The story's got a clear Silence of the Lambs undertone on it.

Watchable but uninspired drama, which too often feels like a bargain-basement rehash of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. Direction and screenplay never rise above functional TV drama, but Greenwood and Elwes bring a certain amount of authority to their characters. Mediocre and plodding for the most part, but not terrible.
