The Private Life of Plants

One of my favourite Attenborough series. Amazing use of time-lapse, delicate close-up shots of plants and of course enthusiastic educating narration by the iconic man himself. Once again utilising the very best film technology of its time to make a stunningly beautiful documentary.

This is a rather daring documentary to make, especially in such a long format. The use of time-lapse is more creative than anything up until this point. A pioneering documentary.

Very good Attenborough series.
