This feels like exactly what it is a mid-2000s TV movie/miniseries. There is a cheapness to everything that hampers things a bit also the lackluster acting doesn't help things any. The first half is more entertaining than the second and the ending set itself up for a sequel or TV series.

There's a lot of violence and that I call the right attitude and style to make this. Unfortunately the costume is too ridicilious and yes it's more ridicilious than the original costume. Also the main character is too skinny for this role. I know that this suppose to be a new version but come on! The Phantom is more like bodybuilder than a techno nerd.
