The Hook

Definitely the show's best episode of season one and I wish that all the details that are revealed here about Charlie's backstory and personal life were more peppered throughout some of the earlier episodes. Still, this is a satisfying conclusion, returning us to the scene of the original episode crime and bringing back Benjamin Bratt and Ron Perlman as the big bads that Charlie has spent an entire season fleeing. It's dark, brutal, emotional, and still very funny.
