It's hardly a patch on the greatness of Mike Judge's previous work on King of the Hill (which it is basically a photo negative version of, KotH being a satirical portrait of a Red Tribe family and TGF being a satirical portrait of a Blue Tribe family), but is worth the watch for Mike Judge fans. The episode where they try to make lesbian friends and the chicken chili episode were both great.
