The Goldbergs

Watched a couple of episodes and just couldn't get into this. It's supposed to be a throwback of the 80's. Just dull.

Non particolarmente originale, ma intrattiene piacevolmente giocando sull'effetto nostalgia. Purtropppo andando avanti ha perso freschezza ed ormai ogni puntata è uguale a se stessa, senza verve.

A good cast is all that sets it apart from other sitcoms (the 80's theme doesn't really help it at all). Second review - this has actually grown on me and the eighties have been used to greater effect. The youngest kid is still a weird little muppet thought.

Slots in seamlessly alongside Modern Family, The Middle, Black-ish, and ABC's whole family comedy lineup. Cute, likable, worth a chuckle or two and not that much more an episode. The Ferris Bueller tribute episode was pretty good.

Sit-com? Sit-full-of-80's-nostalgia-to-distract-from-the-lack-of-jokes more like.
