The Chalet

Moderately well done, but cannot shake the feeling that a distinct absurdity runs through all the events that unfold across this quite murderous narrative. The director has obviously chosen to pursue a far more conventional path than her illustrious and rather philosophically-minded father, which is perhaps a sign of the times, even if the results here are not totally devoid of directorial flair and some slight moral complexity, within the significant constraints of the format she has adopted.
