Despite being an almost one to one adaptation of the comic books, the show doesn't quite capture the magic of Hergé's adventures, and often feels a bit cheap. But as an introduction to the universe, it works well enough.

I love Tintin! And growing up I could watch this all the time. I can still enjoy them today, albeit mostly due to nostalgia.

I remember this being great, my father's friend having recorded them to cassettes in the 90's. Unfortunately, when I was older and viewing them on DVD they lost a lot of their charm, partly because it is, in fact, not a very good adaptation, and also because I was accustomed to hearing the (awesome) theme song complete with warps, hissing and audio dropouts. There's really no other way to hear it.

Very faithful adaptations of the comics, but the format just doesn't work compared to reading them. Also Captain Haddock's voice sounds way better in my head.

So scary at times. 🤣 Still a little traumatized, but in a good way. 😹 Later discovered the original comic - oh my! It is much edgier and even better. Would not have been good for kids...

Maybe if I watched it then, but now it feels just dated.

Really well done, good 90s nostalgic animation and a bunch of exciting storylines that come with mystery, villains, adventure, and thrills. One of those cartoons enjoyed by kids + adults.

A fun cartoon, very lovingly adapted from the original work, but suffers from general 1990s animation flaws and tropes.
