That Mitchell and Webb Look

THAT'S NUMBERWANG

I think this was overall more enjoyable than their previous show. It still has a lot of repeated sketches, but not quite as repetitious as Situation. There are some solid sketches in here, but unfortunately there's too much that still doesn't quite work.

It's sometimes too brutal, and if you binge it, because it's good, you sometimes come off the mainlined nihilistic snark feeling like you've eaten one or two bags of flaming hot cheetos and a can of nonperishable nacho cheese, washed down with that dubious raspberry Arizona ice tea in a can. But lawdalmercy, the satire is deliciously ruthless.

Or I could just summon a horde of celestial angels.

Hit and miss, sure, but when it's a miss it's a bad miss.

Solid stuff. Some great laughs but equally some sketches don't quote hit the mark.

Solid sketch fun with some highlights. Mitchell and Webb are better when others write for them.
