Termination Point

It was all going fine, so far as a low budget made-for-tv sci-fi film with a script that does its best to rip off 24 starring a royalty-free Jeff Goldblum, can be called fine. Until the ending, which really annoyed me - apparently you can send a picture message back through time!. How convenient for everyone because there was no way this was going to end with a happy ending otherwise. To call it a deus ex machina would be too generous, it's not even that, it was just stupid.

Seemed a perfectly respectabe sci-fi to me. Aeroplanes disappearing into wormholes in time and space makes this more like Star Trek or Doctor Who than 24. I have seen a lot of bad sci-fi TV movies - and this is not one of them.

I know a lot of it was just stupid. I know it didn't really make sense. I know the ending was, according to the film itself, impossible. But on a rainy Sunday afternoon it's enjoyable enough. So watch it if there's nothing better to watch.

Slow, too long fake episode of 24 with daft plot and terrible acting.

I wonder, if they remake it as hollywood big blockbuster movie with a big budget and big names. Would it be any more enjoyable? Probably not.....

Watching this film is like having your brain removed by an ice cream scoop!
