Tantei monogatari

Unfortunately a commonly used title. Not to be confused with the well regarded (unseen) series of 1979. A reimagining/remake of the 1983 movie but (IMO) nowhere near as good. Tho there are a number of similarities the stoty is slightly different. Verdict- tho this is a fair watch view the 1983 movie, which has a better story, way better ultimate end and performance from the female lead. No nudity. There is a special, same year, but it's a compression, ignore.
