Rating the first 5 seasons only. The rest, while frequently fun, sometimes genuinely heartwrenching, never really lives up to Kripke's original vision.

Seasons 1-5 are wonderful, watch those if you don't want invest your time in all 15 seasons. But there is still fun to be had if you continue, and a lot of well made episodes along the way to the end. This series had a great variety of intense creepy episodes mixed with genuinely funny self deprecating stories.

I keep asking myself how a premise this good can have such terrible execution, but here we are. It’s the OC for Hot Topic tweens.

This show is just there. Its neither good nor bad but it is fighting for the crown of worst fan base ever alongside Doctor Who.

Just by sheer volume this series is great. Storyline gets a little wacky at times but keeps you on the edge of your seat regardless.

Seasons 1-5 were fantastic with a clear overarching story and entertaining monster of the week episode. After that it's a mixed bag which never quite reaches the quality of those seasons. If rating on those first five seasons I'd give it a 80/100 (Or great on my scale) I highly recommend unless you absolutely adore the show to stop watching right when the street light turns off at the end of season 5.

I'm a dedicated fan, so sitting through all 15 seasons is a labor of love. But the highs of the first 5 seasons are truly unlike anything ever shown on the small screen. The premise is thoroughly enjoyable if somewhat repetitive. The show really kicks into high gear when it begins to explore more creative mythos. I'm a sucker for the brotherly bond too.

Fun show that was great for the first 4 or so seasons. It's a mixed bag after season 5. The CW (and the fans) will apparently never let this show die. Overall even the later seasons are enjoyable even though quality in writing drops significantly.

At the start it was just monster of the week episodes but as the fan base built so did the characters. As the show has progressed it has become more and more about the characters and their journey. All of the characters are fully fleshed and feel alive on the screen. The monsters are still amazing. However, the show could easily be seen as dragging on; to be honest it might be but I prefer to see it as zeroing in on the characters and their individual ends.

The first five seasons work so well that the show certainly deserves the amazing cult audience it has generated. Everything after that is more of a mixed bag and it dives into "take it or leave it" territory.

Starts off great, gets boring as hell from the middle til about season 10, then slowly gets better. The ending was about the best you could hope for out of the series. Congrats, guys. You're finally free.

In its peak (seasons 3-5, when the Lucifer/apocalypse arc kept picking up more and more steam leading to a second half of season 5 that I watched all of in one sitting), this was probably the single best post-Buffy Buffy-esque show out there. Since then, it's certainly not as good, but Jensen Ackles remains good and it can still bust out a great comedy episode. This is the only hourlong show in the history of television I have made it to season 11 of without quitting. I never will at this point.

I never got into this, maybe it gets better after the first season but it felt like a third tier show with slightly more charming leads.
