Stumptown

The charaters are interesting and well-written enough to make the show enjoyable. Hopefully this lasts.

I really like Cobie Smulders in this role, as well as Jake Johnson. The show sounds like it would be a pretty basic procedural cop drama, but it's actually much better written than that with really well developed characters and themes. I was surprised this show got renewed due to low viewer numbers but I am excited to see what happens next! EDIT: Canceled after renewal due to COVID-19 :(

I watched, I think, 4 or 5 episodes and it never grabbed me for a second. It's a mediocre show based on a mediocre comic book. For example, our hero private investigator beat the shit out of another man's car, parked in front of his house, in broad daylight, right in front of him, and in the next scene she is shocked that she's arrested for it. WTF?
