Old school TV special where Bob Hope and Douglas Fairbanks Jr., and a few others do their best to entertain. A mixed bag, but I did enjoy their version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside", even if very little else made much of an impression.

An enjoyable bit of nostalgia. It says something about Bea Lillie's incredible popularity at the time that she was Hope's top-billed special guest in his first-ever TV special, and she reprises her famous "two dozen double damask dinner napkins" skit for the occasion. Perhaps even funnier: her turn in the British-make-a-Hopalong-Cassidy-Western parody. (The summary, from imdb, is for Ep. 2, Season 1 of the Bob Hope Show, not this.)
