Funny cartoon. Again the Story lines aren't there. It's mainly for kids.

The first nine seasons of SpongeBob are comedic genius. There is something to laugh at for all ages, and the humor is subtly complex and philosophically challenging at times if you look hard enough. I'm rating it 100/100 on the basis you either (A) watched it as a kid or (B) have kids of your own now.

Probably good, but I really don't like it for no reason at all. I switched to another channel when it was on tv (as a child), and when I tried to watch it later i just didn't enjoy it at all.

People put their heart into this cartoon even if it was off-putting to some. When you had nothing to do but watch tv, you probably wouldn't mind if this was on.

I've loved this show since I was a kid. It's so crazy and odd that it just works and never gets old. It's a classic and I for one have known that since day one.

There are a lot of filler episodes and oftentimes the supporting cast is stronger than the titular SpongeBob but this Squarepants is a nice change of pace from most cartoons of it's ilk. It is odd, but the combination of abstract concepts and decent voice-acting make it more than just memorable. However, after the first 4-ish seasons, this show just sinks like a lead boat.

Very uneven. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes just bizarre with no payoff. Very much a show I'd have to pick and choose from.

Unfortunately for the show creators, I do not smoke the drugs, like marijuana cigarettes and PCP. Nor do I shot them directly into my vein. No, I suffer from sever alcoholism. Once every week or two I sit down with a nice glass of scotch and pretend to be classy. It's very detrimental to my enjoyment of this show.

Actually weird and different from most children's cartoons. The lead is usually the least funny part, but some of the supporting characters really make it work.
