watchable

The first season is OK but the second just makes you wonder why the hell there is not a third.

The first season—60—is OK but the second—70—just makes you wonder why the hell there is not a third. Now after the third one—80—I can say that is the best of first three. Even better than some of "AHS". In my opinion is at the same level as the best of "AHS" that is "Asylum". Horrific deaths as in "oh my God, not with the blender!!!", a good script, good performances of everyone, and twists until the very end.

Between the two seasons, Slasher is more or less what the title says it is. Slasher is by no means original, but between characters who are likable and fleshed out, to decent acting, and well drawn out eight episode archs, Slasher surprises in a few areas that make it worth a watch. However, it suffers from being predictable in the most important area, and it doesn't take too long to come to that conclusion. Slasher is held back from being a great show, but certainly can achieve such heights.

S1: 55 | Mixed acting, and a poor final episode of the season. The Scream/Seven blend of season one is decent enough. Haven’t yet seen following seasons.
