Shuriken Sentai Ninninger : Episode List

With the passing of the Last Ninja, the Yokai Army is freed once again and it's time for the five descendants of Last Ninja, Takaharu, Fuka, Yakumo, Nagi and Kasumi to become the Ninningers and protect the world from the Yokai Army. Takaharu returns to his hometown when a horde of ashigaru attack.

After their first encounter with the Yokai Army, the five Ninningers train at the Ninja Dojo. Takaharu gives some Ninjutsu advice to the others but Yakumo, who is a genius about that, doesn’t agree with him. The five heroes start their ninjutsu training. However, Takaharu confronts Yakumo, whose standoffish attitude has worn thin.

Nagi is obsessed with licenses and permits. His ninja training is no exception and he carries his textbooks all the time. Yokai Kasha appears and Nagi, wanting to be on the same level as Takaharu and Yakumo, faces it alone with a plan carefully based on the principles and strategies of his books.

The Ninningers are still training while Takaharu is taking a break, until Yokai Tsuchigumo attacks. Meanwhile, Kyuemon tries to order Gabi to gather human fears, which he refuses.

A new Yokai, Ungaikyo, has appeared in the city. When the Ninningers arrive, they find that it has just been giving balloons to children. The Yokai claims it just wants to be popular. The ninjas decide to watch it for a while, taking turns.

The Ninningers take a midterm exam to see how much they have progressed in their training. However, only Takaharu needs to retake the exam.

After the defeat the team suffered against Raizo Gabi, Tsumuji has brought two new ninja teachers: the Kakurangers' Sasuke/NinjaRed and the Hurricanegers' Yosuke Shiina/HurricaneRed. After seeing the Ninningers in action, the teachers sternly declare that the team lacks strength and that Takaharu is not even up to par.

As the Ninningers battle Youkai Nekomata, they travel to the past and meet a younger Takaharu and Fuka Igsaaki and save them from Nekomata. Now, they must defeat Youkai Nekomata and save time and space before its too late.

Upon arriving of fighting the Youkai. However, the Ninningers didn't find the Youkai and instead find a purified Sealing Shuriken, causing the team to wanders of who had done the job for the team. Harukaze Kato, Yakumo's mother and a famed fashion designer, has the End Shuriken be a part of Harukaze's new dress, much to the team and Yakumo's shock.

Yoshitaka has been attacked. The team creates a plan to lure the attacker in. The culprit, who fell squarely into the trap, was the guitar carrying Kinji. After the team surrounds him, he transforms into StarNinger. His flashy techniques send the Ninningers flying away.

Yoshitaka has told Kinji that he’ll take him in as a disciple if he can defeat his grandchildren. Kinji becomes a helper at the Igasaki dojo and now takes care of everyone. However, at the same time, he takes even the slightest opportunity to attack so battle can start anywhere. Meanwhile, Raizo, wanting to settle the score with Takaharu asks Kyuemon to set things so they can have their battle and in exchange, he’ll concentrate on bringing Gengetsu back afterwards.

All six of the Ninningers must find a way of how to work together and combine Shurikenjin and BisonKing into King Shurikenjin in order to stop a powerful Raizo Gabi, once and for all. Meanwhile, Kyuemon beigns to revive the next fallen general while Raizo begins his last stand against the Ninningers!

Kyuemon has now revived the Chief Retainer of the Kibaoni Army, Masakage Tsugomori (voiced by Ryusei Nakao). He claims that adding a playful element to strategies is the true way to battle.

Kinji’s attacks on Takaharu have intensified. In the middle of their constant clashes, they don’t realize just how much stronger they are becoming. However, the constant mess that they leave makes Fuka furious.

Kinji befriends a traitorous Youkai monster, not knowing of the true nature of the Youkai's plans against the Ninningers. Kinji must do his best to do what is right and save the day.

Masakage plans to use the latest Youkai to target Takaharu and Fuka's father, who gave up on his dreams once he lost the ability to perform ninjutsu.

The new Youkai targets Kinji, whose task of defeating the Ninningers is due in a day.

A new Youkai named Otoroshi appears with the ability to control minds, and Yakumo acts rather oddly about him.

The Ninningers seek a machinesmith named Tetsunosuke Saika after an Advanced Youkai damages their equipment.

The team visits the Shishi Temple once more in order to befriend Shishi-Oh, who turns out to be the spirit of the OtomoNin of the Skies, Lion Ha-Ojo. Tetsunosuke Saika the 22nd tells the team that if they want to know how to tame the OtomoNin, they must give him the Ninja Ichibantou and steals Takaharu’s. Meanwhile, the powered up Advanced Yokai Nue appears again.

Kinji has now become an “apprentice” disciple of Yoshitaka and joins the rest of the team in ninjutsu training. Since he attained his abilities through self-schooling, he knows nothing about the basics. It is then that he decides to train from zero by himself. A young boy who had stayed for extra baseball practice sees Kinji training. Then, the dream eating Yokai, Baku, appears and attacks the boy.

Tetsunosuke has created a new Nin Shuriken to further bring out Lion-Ha-Oh’s power. The Ninningers try defeating some Gashadokuro with Shurikenjin Drago and BisonKing, but find that they cannot combine with Lion-Ha-Oh. The reason, according to Yoshitaka, seems to lie with Kinji and Yakumo. In order to catch up to the OtomoNin’s power, just like Takaharu did, they try using the Chozetsu Shoubu Changer on Kinji.

Nagi, wanting to see Kasumi be bad at something for once, organizes a Ninja guts challenge. He will have Fuka and Kasumi enter a building said to be haunted and the boys will disguise themselves to scare them. However, Yokai Yuki-Onna appears and the other Rangers are frozen, leaving Nagi by himself. Knowing that this time it is up to him alone, he decides to confront Yuki-Onna.

Ariakenokata, dissatisfied at the lack of results from the Japanese Yokai, has summoned the Three Great Western Yokai. The Ninningers were very busy with their studies and training, prompting Tsumuji to treat the young ones by proposing to have a day off, so they decide to go to an amusement park. In order for Tsumuji and Fuka to have a nice day, Nagi and the others support from the shadows.

Fuuka is scouted to an audition for a spot as the heroine of a movie along with many others, but one by one the other contenders begin going unconscious.

When the Ninningers come home, Yoshitaka tells them how they've each been faring in the Last Ninja race, but things seem off.

Wolf Man, the Youkai who killed Kinji's family, arrives, easily defeating him. The Last Ninja believes that Kinji isn't fit to be a ninja, but his grandchildren have different opinions about their comrade.

Hayabusa, a Ninja belonging to the Izayoi Way's Ninja Army Corps, headed by Kyuemon, has appeared. It created an anti-adult barrier around a kindergarten to gather the fear of the children. In order to bypass the barrier, the Ninningers transform into various toys through Yakumo’s magic. They manage to get through the barrier but the spell is broken and they are immediately found by the Kibaoni Army. They then succeed in smuggling the children out on a bus.

The next Izayoi Ninja creates a board game based on Tsumuji's life, prompting Yakumo to bring him for help, with the risk of revealing what has truly happened to his powers.

Takaharu brings the female ninja Kikyo to the Dojo. Kikyo says she’s come to teach at the Ninja Cram School headed by her master Kiroku Ise. Takaharu cannot hide his interest in this Cram School and decides to take a class together with the students. However, Takaharu feels there is something not right with the students. Kasumi and the others find the school itself suspicious and infiltrate it to check it out.

Izayoi Ninja Mujina has appeared. Kasumi is struck with the “Best bit removal technique” while protecting Nagi and has the best of her removed. She now is totally uninterested about anything, let alone strategizing against the enemy. In order to revert her back to normal, the other Ninningers bet the best of each other against Mujina. However, the now careless Kasumi falls victim to her own ninjutsu and is captured.

HaOh Shurikenjin is defeated by Kyuemon’s robot, KarakuriKyubi. The Ninningers cannot withstand the attacks without their OtomoNin. Yoshitaka shows up and the Last Ninja vs. Kyuemon Izayoi battle begins. The Ninningers manage to escape but their OtomoNin are now out of action. Wondering whether they could make their own, they consult the Karakuri Master, Tetsunosuke.

While Ariake no Kata laments the loss of the “useful fox”, Tsugomori now summons the 5th Ninja, the Kibaoni School Kunoichi Suzumebachi. Takaharu is hit by one of her venom arrows, and those affected with Suzumebachi’s venom will die in 12 hours unless the antidote is given. Suzumebachi targets Nagi next but Yakumo steps in and protects Nagi in total disregard of his own life.

The Ninningers are fighting a group of Hyakkarage when a warrior named Jiraiya appears. Jiraiya is a legendary Ninja, 35th head of the Togakure School and central figure of the World Ninja War that occurred 27 years ago. He confused the Ninningers with evil Izayoi school ninjas and confronted them.

Nagi is trying to develop new Ninjutsu techniques using documents in the Dojo library when he comes across the words “Yokai Sword Urasame” which appears to be a sword that feeds on spirit power and decides to look into it further, checking even the restricted scroll of “Yokai Swords”. At the same time, Kinji starts getting the feeling that something's wrong with his body, realizing that the spirit power that Kyuemon used on him is turning him into a Yokai!

Kyuemon lied, and now Kinji has become a Yokai. The Ninningers cannot believe their eyes. Tsugomori takes advantage of the confusion and applies two cursed Shurikens to a Gashadokuro, giving birth to the massive Advanced Yokai Oboroguruma. His roller attacks put Shurikenjin in a pinch! Yoshitaka orders that Kinji and the sword are separated, but once Kinji starts fighting again, the sword comes flying to him.

Nagi has been assigned to write about a career he wants to have. However, he doesn’t have the clearest idea of how he wants to become the Last Ninja. Yoshitaka has him experience this path as if in an RPG. Nagi becomes the protagonist, playing himself. Takaharu is the warrior, Yakumo the wizard, Kasumi the priestess, Kinji the knight, and Fuka the elf. Their mission is to defeat the great demon king Supparagon.

Elena, daughter of the headmaster at the magic school Yakumo attended, pays a visit. Apparently, Yakumo told her that he was the leader of a Magical Sentai, so Takaharu and the others decide to play along. Meanwhile, Yokai Amikiri, capable of cutting all important things, appears. The Ninningers decide to fight as Magic Sentai Magimagiger, with Yakumo as leader. However, on top of being discovered as a ninja, Yakumo can’t prevent Amikiri from kidnapping Elena.

There’s been a villain stealing everyone’s snacks. Turns out it was Mangetsu, the son of Kibaoni. Mangetsu, who took 444 years to be born, is an oaf that leaves the work to his personal guard of Hyakkarage soldiers. The Ninningers confront him but he escapes without putting up a fight. Kasumi and Fuka decide to set a tea party trap and lure Mangetsu to the treats.

Kasumi is always developing new Karakuri technology. This time she tries her hand at a device that can call upon Yokai. However, the device only summons Jukkarage. Is Kasumi in a slump? The cause of her apparent haste is her recent loss against Mangetsu Kibaoni. Meanwhile, a mysterious Santa is giving rings to everyone. After 1 hour, all those with rings become ragged.

Mangetsu has invited the Ninningers to the succession party of the Head of the Kibaoni House. The team decides to go in spite of knowing that it is a trap. There, Advanced Yokai Shutendouji challenges them to a five competition match. First, a kite battle against Yakumo. Next is a Yabusame match with Kasumi riding a horse composed of Takaharu, Nagi and Yakumo.

After Ninningers are attacked by Mangetsu Kibaoni, Shurikenjin is captured and used, Yakumo makes a plan to get back Lion-Haojo and Shurikenjin by making Tsumuji Igasaki like Yokai Nekomata to re-capture Shurikenjin and Lion-Ha-Ojo.

The Igasakis are doing New Year's cleaning at the dojo when suddenly Tsumuji attacks Takaharu. It is revealed that it is actually the Sky Ninja of the Hurricanegers, Shurikenger in disguise and he has challenged the Ninningers to a game of karuta to test their Yokai knowledge.

The road to the final battle begins as Gengetsu Kibaoni and the revived Kibaoni generals makes their move while AkaNinger faces the Last Ninja.

Takaharu informs the others that the title of Last Ninja is only obtained by defeating the previous holder and stealing their Nintality. The rest, just like Takaharu, are not capable of harming their grandfather. Then, Kyuemon Shingetsu Kibaoni appears. The Ninningers try confronting him but now that Kyuemon has mastered the Shuriken Ninpo as well, they have their powers sealed.

The three generations of AkaNingers have finally joined forces. The last battle against Gengetsu Kibaoni and the Kibaoni Army Corps has begun. The attack starts by a coordinated strike by the six Ninningers, followed by a full blown strike from the three AkaNingers. Finally, they all join forces for a third blow. However, Gengetsu has gathered strength during his sealing and things won’t be as easy. Yoshitaka decides to make a direct attack once more.

Kyuemon Shingetsu Kibaoni has activated the End Shuriken and intends to end this world and create a new one ruled by the Kibaoni Household. The Ninningers face the Kibaoni Army Corps to prevent this. Only the Kibaoni father and son remain. However, the ninjas have their power stolen and cannot transform. But, they won’t back down.
