The baby in this looked more realistic than the baby in American Sniper.

A stupid film. This film revels in its stupidity. How is this different from the other Sharknado films? To answer that, I'd have to go back and rewatch those films, which is something I will never do (once is enough, even though I gave the first one a '65' for some inexplicable reason). Although this is 90 minutes, it's a laborious 90 minutes, the kind of 90 minutes where you keep checking your watch and wondering if this film will ever be over.

Tries way too hard to be a so-shit-its-good film, and that doesn't make for a fun experience. The fun of riffing on a shitgood film is that it's a shit film made with allusions of being a masterpiece (see: The Room). When the makers set out to make a deliberately shit film, then the result is this. Most of the OMG SO WACKY elements fall flat, and they're the only selling point this has.

Ok, so last Sharknado I was starting to get on board; the movie was fun, crazy and great background viewing. I was beginning to see what all the fuss was about. This one brings it back down - it's just WAY too out there. President Cuban? Father Hasselhoff? SPACE?!? I don't even know what they could do for the next movie. Sharknado Robots from Outer Space???? I'll be expecting the royalty checks.

I'd say it's more or less on par with the spirit of The Second One. Of course it's among the most stupid, ridiculous, borderline cinema poison kind of movies out there...but it's the right kind of stupid! I'll never be the kind of guy who acts like this is legit filmmaking who can't see why people don't like it, but me personally, I'm a sucker for Sharknado!

More of the same, for better or worse - this actually starts with a bang, with an opening sequence in the White House leaning into some crazy silliness that you hope will carry on into the rest of the film; as before, once the real shark mayhem begins, Ferrente seems lost at sea, unwilling or unable to decide how po-faced or campy he wants to go. Shout out to Lauer and Roker whose Greek chorus from the Today Show couch is once again a highlight!

The best of the series. Nice story and okay effects for the B movie. Among others, cameos of Jackie Collins, Jerry Springer, George R.R. Martin, Penn and Teller at least I recognized of.

The previous ones were funnier. sharknado 3 is all over the place in terms of locations which makes it hard to follow and less enjoyable.

This third Sharknado is less giddy than the second and does not simply slot in a few crazy bits in an otherwise standard Asylum level of film crappiness. Instead it goes on a non-stop action fest whose pace rarely slows down. Mercifully, it more at ease with dealing with actual known actors (or celebs) and plays them up far less so it's actually a better film. The ideas are more outlandish than the previous two, so it does appropriately kick things up a notch.

B-movie on steroids!!! Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2015) is almost like the low budget version of Mars Attacks! (1996) considering how many cameos it has! Novelty movie delux!
