It's an excellent show until the last episode of the first season. After that it transforms into a post-apocalyptic Game of Thrones. That's still not bad, but since it didn't start out like that, I have very mixed feelings about how the story should be judged. Initially it seemed like a Hero's journey in a beautiful, untamed world. That story was completely abandoned which is really weird. Nonetheless, it's entertaining and I can recommend it, just be aware that Season 1 is an unfinished story.

Would have been 100 but the wrap up after the final battle scene was one of the worst finale I have ever seen in a show or movie in my 50 years of watching. Last 10 min of series was a left wing killer

Once you get past a fairly silly premise (virus blinds everyone and humanity deteriorates to Middle Ages and loses all knowledge), you're in for a show that's pretty well done.

Only a few episodes in, and so far it feels like everything was in place here, some worldbuilding, a star, decent budget.. BUT... it kinda feels like its going through the motions. The world that was built is a bit lackluster, and feels a bit soulless. Reserving right to change score as the season goes on, but so far it's just average.
