An iconic show, obviously, and reasonably entertaining, but best appreciated in small doses.

Definition of formulaic, but I loved it. Scooby and Shaggy are just a great duo. Fuck Fred, though, what a tool

It's a lot harder to watch the show now, and it wasn't easy to watch multiple episodes back in the day.

Passable TV special of a kiddy whodunnit. Wait what? They made a whole series recycling the same gist? A WHOLE CINEMATIC UNIVERSE!?

Good show. Liked this when I was a kid. There's a joke in this show I never caught on when I was a kid and that is. Fred would always split up into groups and he used to always say Me & The Girls will go this way and you and Scooby go that way. I am like oh yeah ok makes sense that they pointed this out. Why couldn't they mix people for. But none the less a good show when I was a kid.

Flick on an episode of the original Scooby Doo series, and then look me in the eye and tell me you weren't filled to the brim with all the carefree nostalgia and happiness of childhood. The cream of the crop when it comes to the Hanna-Barbera library.

The same thing every week, but not completely awful.

Probably the only Barbera show I enjoyed when I was younger, in contrast to the other Barbera shows at least there was a lot of slapstick and it was pretty cool to see what each monster of the week would be. However, the show often times would repeat the same jokes{OH NO! VELMA LOST HER GLASSES AGAIN!} and the show was incredibly formulaic{how often is it that the group splits up, end up in some goofy chase scene and EVERY villain says the exact same line of dialog?}. Overall, could be worse.

My go to cartoon of childhood. Aged poorly but this was prime entertainment.

So little entertainment value. Just never got why it was so popular?
