Sulla carta doveva piacermi molto, una serie incentrata su una piccola comunità con tanti misteri e segreti da scoprire è proprio il mio genere: invece proprio non ci siamo. Troppa carne al fuoco, personaggi tirati in mezzo e poi dimenticati e storyline chiuse frettolosamente, il ritmo poi è piuttosto lento. Il colpo di scena finale non è male, anche se un po' telefonato, ma resta una serie poco più che passabile

Nothing extraordinary, but intriguing enough to be engaging for eight episodes. The acting is great, especially Amanda Abbington (Sophie) and Amy James-Kelly (Jenny). The Marshall family's stupidity was annoying as hell.

Terrible but there is a certain drive to it (probably thanks to the rapidfire red herrings). Hannah Arterton and Marc Warren are the cutest little things. Michael C. Hall needs to gain fifty pounds and go full ham already. If he plays his cards right, he could be a third-rate Oliver Reed

A solid mystery lead by the desperate dad character played to near perfection by Michael C. Hall. It dragged on for 8 episodes when it could have been neater and tighter in 6. It told a very bold story one with a lot of puzzle pieces to unfold. Some of them made sense, others were thrown together as red herrings and seemed needlessly pointless. It kept me entertained and wanting to find out the answer to the looming mystery. The pay off was mildly satisfying.

Solid Netflix binge material. Not bad not great.
