Ricky Gervais Live 3: Fame

I don't think this is much worse than his two previous Live shows, I like Gervais best when he's making fun of himself. A few bits are great, like the obesity bit, although it suffers from a lack of focus. Still hilarious.

Fine, not great.

I know the ego thing is a part of his show but I think it was a little bit much that made me uncomfortable. Besides that, it was alright.

Watching this thirg Gervais' special I had a strange feeling that I had already seen it and only few days before (note to self: cut down on benzos). Few funny bits here and there, but Gervais is and will ever be just mediocre chubby comic.

Actually didn't really enjoy it. A few funny bits, but mostly mediocre

Not quite as consistent, not quite as polished but still with some really good gags. Liked the extra with Karl too.

Better than 'Politics', funny most of the time but not incredibly funny or memorable.

Not his best, but not everybody can be as prolific as Carlin or Louis CK and Gervais is coming close to that level with his ratio of quality and quantity.

Pretty funny.

Gervais' third stand-up is a bit of a disappointment when held up to his previous two. Although amusing it's inconsistent and contains large periods without a major laugh, his material appearing rather lazy at times. He does stick to the subject matter here but one thinks he could've forged better jokes out of the position he now finds himself in.

I can't remember what bits I found particularly funny, but some of it was funny, I'm sure of that.

Funny as always.

Gervais seems to be more at home when he's playing cocky but he's laughing at himself a bit too much, especially when he's not that funny.
