First of all, let's just ignore the historical irregularities. The photo is nice and the film is generally passable apart from some cheesy moments, but the story never gets interesting and with underwhelming action, what else it there? Unsurprisingly, the CGI sucks, which really hurts in a movie about gargoyles.
