Don't see the rationale with such high scores. It's pleasantly -designed- for sure and that gives the impression we are into something high caliber at first. But how it treats the initial curiosity is as dull and tv-ey as it gets.

It's sad to see what they did to this series. The premise is very good and the first episodes are thought-provoking. However, as the whole thing progresses, it loses focus and becomes disfigured, reaching its peak of mediocrity in the second season.

first season far superior, less effort in the second season, but still the best sci-fi series running.

I sort of liked first season, but second season was a drag to watch. I kept watching until end of episode 6 in the hope for having some kind of explanation, but the randomness kept on . I was not captured by it for a single mintute, everything is just a boring mess, bland characters in a bland world. As I realized that I actually didnt care if any of the characters lived or died (and neither the stupid flying android baby (satan), which doesnt make any metaphysical sense) I quit.

Just finished season 1, it just got really dull and repetitive and lost my interest. Half-watched part of season 2 while on the Internet but realized it's like a looong movie that just won't end. Annnd it just got cancelled after 2 seasons.

disappointed, it had a strong premise ( I always like the religion theme that Ridley Scott is going for) but unfortunately, it ends up lackluster.

I thought this was a really interesting show. The android characters are designed and performed in a way that drew me in every week, and the lore of the world was really well done. I think the first season as a whole was great, even if not every moment worked perfectly, but it ended in a way that makes me both super excited and worried about where the show will go next. EDIT: Second season wasn't as good, but it was still decent. Canceled though.

Ridley Scott, so had to watch it. It's ok in a goofy kind of low budget way, but Fimmel is basically a one trick pony repeating his role from the Vikings.

Season one was interesting, built up an incredible intrigue, but then the ending was just so… deflating. Season 2 built upon that ending, and I can't keep going, it's simply not interesting to me. Stopped after S2's ending, which is yet another gratuitous cliffhanger.

Has all the promise of all the Ridley Scott stuff we love with extra vomiting-robot-milk-fluid. However, (and this is a big however), that last episode of season 1 was for me just awful nonsense.

The pilot directed by Ridley Scott was cinematic and captivating. The rest is pretty much garbage. Very poorly written and executed.

Gave up after a few episodes. The philosophical explorations are bad, the writing is bad, the production values are bad, and the acting is mediocre.

S1 was promising by being so unique and showcasing some of the best physical acting I've seen from the actor who played Mother. The final episode of S1 was questionable in the new direction the show was taking, and my bad feelings were confirmed by S2 which felt like it was spinning its wheels. On top of that it's also hard to recommend as it was cancelled on a cliffhanger. Side note I want the casting person to justify themselves because the kid who played Campion was fucking terrible.

Gorgeous and well made, its a bit dry at times and often seems to retread the same territory over and over. Its a bit cold and clinical at times, which sucks emotion from where there should be more. I will see if it gets another season and see if it can capitalize on any world building.

Season 1 is pretty good although it meanders a bit. I stopped watching halfway through season 2 because I actually forgot about it. Once reminded I didn't feel like coming back but I felt compelled to leave this review. As for the cast, Fimmel seems to be a one-trick pony, playing Ragnar from Vikings season 3 again, Salim is not bad and Amanda Collin takes the cake home. Overall impression: not really worth the time.

A Boris Vallejo painting come to life! I'm sure it will become increasingly silly and dull--the last birth of the first season pretty much breaks the show out of sci-fi convention and into fantasy--but I'm intrigued enough for now. The main kid actor was miscast. He can't act. My biggest criticism is that the pacing is too slow and drawn out.
