Photogenic American child actor of the 1940s, popular due in no small measure to his air of innocence and his beautiful, cherubic face with its dimples and his sparkling eyes, topped with a crown of curls. Still an actor in demand while well into his middle years, he is one of the few juvenile performers to succeed lifelong in films.

If ever a show needed a reboot, this is it. Great concept with limitless stories to tell, the show doesn't really hold up over time, as much of the effects (especially the "leaping") are quite laughable by today's standards. They never did show a scene where Sam leaps into a female body while she's having sex. Maybe at the exact point where she's trying anal for the first time. Oh boy!

Overall its repetitive, especially if binge watching, but Bakula and Stockwell are really good in it and you could do a lot worse for sci fi fare.

I'm glad to add another completed Sci-fi badge to my list, although this series does barely reach the bar for what I consider Sci-fi. It is a down to earth series that was better suited as a weekly treat. The formula gets a bit stale by the end, but luckily it doesn't drag on for 15 seasons. Like most Sci-fi, the series was unquestionably progressive for its time. My favorite episode was Jimmy.

Realized while rating the new Quantum Leap that I never rated the old one, which is the better show overall. It's unfortunate that it never got a proper ending, and I hope Scott Bakula decides to show up on the new show to let that happen, but regardless of that, it's still a really fun show with a lot of really cool historical scenarios.

I remember this series from my childhood. It was a really great premise. I remember an episode starting him as boxer in a boxing match. That was a really cool opening. You open your eyes an bam! Oh, boy! You're in the arena.

Had me glued as a kid and was an essential TV sci-fi fix for the young me in the 90's. Stockwell and Bakula made a good combo.

A serious contender for the most enjoyable piece of TV-trash I persisted in watching, though I probably wouldn't rewatch it so as not to spoil that distant impression. Bakula and Stockwell were adorable.
