Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Oh its not very good :( They could have made this series 12 episodes per season, but since they couldn't write complex dialogue they decided to rush through the book and take out all the suspense and character growth. It doesn't help that there isn't a single good performance from any of the actors besides Aryan.

I think the show starts out strong, but I did end up not caring as much about the story as the season went on. I do really like the idea of this world and these characters, but there's something about it that doesn't quite feel like it hits its potential.

I did not expect this show to be any good. It was quite tolerable.

I know I watched both Percy Jackson movies, but I have literally no memories of them, they've seemingly been zapped from my mind Men In Black style. This just seems top to bottom like Harry Potter with the serial numbers filed off - near identical protagonist and other character types, world building, settings, magic school with temperament-based houses, even a Quidditch equivalent. I'll just wait and watch HBO Max's pointless Harry Potter remake instead.

Kinda nothing.
