Definitely the most entertaining of all the Omen movies. Incompetent at almost all levels but helped by a spirited performance from Faye Grant, as the film moves from one absurdity to another. Surprisingly, the pseudo-religiosity is dialled down in favour of New Ageiness instead, with lots of scenes involving crystals, psychic energy and Kirlian aura photography. Michael Lerner is enjoyable, too, and the ridiculous scenes in which he is involved also include two arbitrarily-placed kitty cats.

Shocked by how convoluted this is -- it engages in a new storyline every five minutes (detective investigating nun who became part of a cult after being a prostitute is genius), which just gave me a headache for hours. Favorite bit is new age nanny who takes Antichrist kid to a (new age, of course) fair so a friend of hers takes a Kirlian photograph of the girl -- kid's dog then kills the nanny and later the kid immitates dead woman's pose when she fell on the playground and mom gets horrified.

Just let it die. If the third movie was making a bad turn, this film is accelerating directly into a wall. Atrocious plot, reasonable acting from the girl who plays Delia, but generally poor acting surrounding her. The 'twist' is at best confusing and pointless, and at worst witless blundering from half-drunk hacks.

Closer to a contemporary remake/reboot than a legitimate sequel, Omen 4 simply follows the pattern of the previous films, only with noticeably less money and skill. Grant and Lerner are fine under the circumstances, but the rest of the acting is pretty bad, and some of the deaths rival the second installment for camp value. The directors also show no flair for atmosphere, and the 'twist' is desperate and stupid.

After the failure of "The Final Conflict," the producers thought they could milk more out of the franchise with this lackluster TV movie starring Faye Grant ("V the miniseries") as a woman who adopts a daughter and discovers there's more than meets the eye. Despite the potential laid out by the first film, this series declined precipitously. (A reboot of the original was released in 2006.)

The worst in the franchise
If you ask me
The thing I complimented Damien The Omen II for
Hiring really great child actors is the exact opposite of what they did in this movie
Also I felt they put to much focus on the little girl
Rather than adult characters protecting her as done in previous movies and I can’t even begin to understand the plot
Just not a very good movie in my opinion

I had no idea that this was a made for TV movie, BUT I REALLY, REALLY SHOULD HAVE. Minus 10 for no cool deaths.
