I think the show is just too PG for my tastes by this point. In the OG quantum leap Sam had to kill sometimes. In this one Ben somehow gets through leaps with kgb agents, nazis, and arms dealers without having to kill. And the sappy hidden heart of gold trope feels a bit dated for 2024.
