Very stupid, campy vampy movie. I appreciate the generally transgressive, free-wheeling nature of it. There's some fun in seeing what vampire rules and mythos are being obeyed. Unfortunately the vampire-hunter subplot is jarring, woefully acted, and also crude and racist in characteristically clueless 90s fashion. Fans might appreciate Cattrall's last pre-S&tC performance. She hams it up and is a lot of fun, and should have really been in every scene, but hey, good thing HBO came calling..
