Good animation with that beautiful 90s anime look that I love but the story is mostly a bunch of characters who are cardboard cut out action cartoon tropes

The definition of a typical mecha anime. Average in every way. It features the obligatory underdeveloped Romeo & Juliet-esque romance and ridiculous amounts of plot armor.
