I've never been a fan or Mr Magoo and as such this variation seemed a bit blah. Also why is this a musical it doesn't add anything aside for some dull filler.

I can't tell if it's the nature of the story, or my preexisting bias, but I swear this has the exact same structure, and scenes, of a Muppet Christmas Carol. And in the same ways, this is well above the (relatively low) holiday average.
