Midsomer Murders

Solid Miss Marple-ish whodunit case of the week. (1 episode)

Bland, unremarkable murder mystery show. You might think I'm punishing it for its age? Yet something like "Columbo", which is much more entertaining, came out over a quarter century earlier.

Often times I can't guess who the killer is, because of some totally new information they share at the reveal. It's basically Scooby Doo, but British and without actual unmasking, although often times the killers wear some sort of disguise, especially in later seasons. Overall it's light, uncumbersome and easy to watch.
