The details of her fall (&its cost) always avoid Lifetime-channel hyperbole, & never ring less than true. What the film fails 2 do is explain whether or not her choices r truly necessary. 1 character points out that most grad students get by doing other work, but she - & the film - basically dismiss that possibility out of hand.
