Master and Apprentice

A very uncompelling start to the season. The world of Star Wars is wonderfully realized in surprisingly bright colors, so I had high hopes, but the visuals are easily the best part of this episode. The writing is pretty stilted with some laughably bad attempts at one-liners and the acting itself is very wooden. I don't care about any of these characters or their quest and the series so far does a bad job at setting up the premise in a way that's compelling.
