Lost Ollie

Not sure who is this intended for. Not for kids because of all the violence and social issues, not for the adults because the plot is from a kids' movie. Also, characters and the story feel sketched out and rushed. Pretty bad overall.

Netflix beats Disney to the live-action remake of Toy Story. Lost Ollie is incredibly well-made. From the CG characters to the cast, the song choices to the calculated tugging of the heartstrings; it all feels considered...for better and for worse. The plot doesn't contain any surprises but it's well-paced and enjoyable, though I feel as if it were conceived as a film with the exposition in the 3rd episode added to pad the runtime. Sweet, perhaps saccharine at points, but its good family drama.
